President & CEO

Haliday Douglas is the Chief Executive Officer of the St. Louis Education Fund, a nonprofit that raises and reinvests community dollars in impactful programming for public school students in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to his tenure at the Fund, Haliday was the founder and CEO of Sons & Daughters of St. Louis, a 501 (c)(3) consulting group that aimed to help nonprofits and social good initiatives use the lived expertise of community members to design and implement innovative programming. During his 15 years of experience leading to his time at Sons & Daughters of St. Louis, Haliday worked in C-suite manager roles to lead change in policy and practice across five states, including: California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, and Tennessee.

Haliday’s areas of expertise include organizational strategy, K-12 program management, program development, metrics design, talent management, and DEI. In his free time, Haliday serves on a number of nonprofit boards focused on education quality and excellence, in addition to guest lecturing each year on best practices in change management at the Broad Center at the Yale School of Management in New Haven, Connecticut. 

Haliday holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Bowdoin College, and a Master’s in Education Policy and Performance Management from Harvard University.

Chief Operations Officer

Nikki is deeply committed to advancing equity, social justice, and transformative outcomes for students across St. Louis. Her work centers on expanding access and opportunity for communities affected by historical and systemic barriers, while partnering with educators and leaders to challenge the status quo of public education.

Drawing on her experience at the Institute for School Partnership (ISP) at Washington University, where she served as Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives, and Head of School at City Academy, Nikki brings a strong background in collaborative district partnerships and innovative school transformation.  

A proud advocate for St. Louis, Nikki is driven by a deep belief in the city’s young people, educators, and communities, and is committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Nikki holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, a Master of Arts in International Relations from Webster University, and a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Social and Economic Development from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis.

Program & Communications Officer

Rachel grew up in St. Louis and is deeply passionate about the people who live here. After receiving her Bachelor of Social Work from Valparaiso University she was excited to be able to return home for graduate school. Rachel received her Master of Social Work at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis with a concentration in Social and Economic Development. Exploring a spectrum of community-focused work such as state level policy, youth development in public schools, and urban agriculture, Rachel is excited to pull from her diverse skill set to support SLPS students. She is deeply invested in equitable education and making sure children have access to the tools and resources that will get them to wherever they want to go. Outside of work Rachel loves being in nature, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Jada joined the St. Louis Education Fund team in 2022 after graduating with a Master of Social Work from the Brown School at Washington University, with a Concentration in Children, Youth & Families and a Specialization in Management.

Her work primarily focuses on advancing programming aligned with the St. Louis Education Fund’s three priority areas: Health, Wellness & Safety; PreK-8th Grade Literacy; and 6th-12th Grade Post-Secondary Opportunity. In her role, Jada supports initiatives that better position educators and the broader school community to foster responsive, relationship-driven learning environments, as well as programming that broadens access to high-quality college and career exposures that build upon scholars' post-secondary success.
