We raise community funds and resources to support funding gaps and proven or promising practices within St. Louis area public schools. We are committed to ensuring students and families are equipped, both academically and developmentally, for each step in their PreK-12 journey.

Beginning in 2023, the St. Louis Education Fund will be focused on supporting St. Louis area public schools in making significant measurable change in five key areas:

  • Student and educator access to mental health services

  • College and career ready skills and exposures in grades 6-12

  • Educator retention and satisfaction

  • K-8 reading proficiency rates

  • College and career matriculation and graduation rates

Our Approach

  1. Incubate: guide strategy, facilitate design, and provide resources to launch a proven or promising effort in St. Louis area public schools.

  2. Refine: Facilitate data-informed knowledge sharing, redesign work, and provide resources to codify components of incubated efforts in St. Louis area public schools that seemingly work.

  3. Embed: Facilitate transition of full ownership (strategic and financial) of a proven effort to St. Louis area public schools to sustainably replace pre-existing practices and programs.
